About Diyalo Pariwar

Founded 1 June 1978 as the "Diyalo Children Library"

Diyalo Pariwar began as a grassroots, volunteer-led youth initiative in Narayangarh, Chitwan — focused on environmental sanitation, cultural programmes, disaster response and educational support for children. Following formal registration with the Government of Nepal in 1985, it grew into a professionally managed, multidisciplinary development organization.

Guided by the philosophy “Go to the people, live among them, learn from them, plan with them, and work with them,” we remain rooted in local knowledge, community capacities and participatory, rights-based development.
